What people say about SVGator
Straight from the designers and developers who animate with it.
I've been advocating for SVGator as our go-to tool for creating scalable vector animated assets on my team at Asurion for some time now, and it is exciting to see other designers pick up the tool as well.
Ilya Tsuprun
Principal Product Designer at Asurion
I recommend SVGator to all the digital agencies I work for. I can create SVG files from scratch and edit less than perfect SVG projects sent in by customers. Its usability is great!
Marcus Lamer
Freelance Digital Artist
I love that I can simply download the SVG animations or just copy the code. This plugin saves us a lot of time!

Frequently asked questions
1. Are SVGator's tools free to use?
Yes, the tools on this page cost nothing to use. You can also animate the result in the SVGator editor on the Free plan.
2. Do I need an SVGator account to use the tools?
Not to use the tools. You only need to sign in if you choose to open a result in the SVGator editor to animate it.
3. What happens to the files I upload?
It depends on the tool. SVG Optimizer, Lottie Preview, and Figma Motion to SVGator run entirely in your browser — nothing leaves your device. PNG to SVG and AI to SVG need a server to do the conversion, so the file is sent, converted, and discarded immediately afterwards; it is never stored.
4. Can I open a converted file in the SVGator editor?
Yes, SVGator allows you to import SVG files, plus Lottie JSON, PNG, JPEG and GIF.
5. Is there a file size limit?
PNG to SVG and AI to SVG accept files up to 20 MB. Figma Motion to SVGator accepts SVGs up to 7 MB, matching what the editor itself will import. The browser-based tools have no server limit — they are bound only by your own machine.
