At Alamance Community College (ACC), creativity met technology when students took on a unique midterm challenge: design a pun-based animation using SVGator. Guided by freelance artist and instructor Matthew Gordon, the project not only sharpened animation skills but also brought plenty of laughs.

With two $50 prizes up for grabs—one dedicated to the funniest, most cleverly crafted pun and the other reserved for the most outstanding animation—this challenge invited students to push their creativity in multiple directions at once.It wasn’t just about making people laugh or producing sleek visuals; the real goal was to merge sharp humor with a strong sense of design, creating entries that entertained as much as they impressed.
